Factoids: Tom Sherman sold his barber shop in Dec 1935 and he opened the alleys in Jan 1936 inside the old Boyd Furniture building across from the Teton Theater.
There was a devastating fire in February 1937 on the lunch counter side of the Sherman alleys but Tom had the bowling alley up and running quickly.
In February 1939 Buel Hixson purchases the bowling alley from Tom Sherman.  Hixson ran a bakery at 126 N Bent St from 1935-1939.
B M Hixson was the manager/owner of the lanes per the 1939-40 & 1941-42 Ives Business Directory.
