Factoids: Lee Cunningham moved the Powell Recreation Hall alleys from the Mann-Pratt building to the north-half of the Strauch Jewelry store room after the building was sold to the Yale Oil Company in Aug 1932.
Lee Cunningham, accompanied by William Shepard his pinsetter, was robbed after leaving the bowling alley in January 1933.
Lee Cunningham left Powell in 1934 to open Bowl-More/Bowlmore Alleys in Cody, WY.
Harry Flaugh who took over ownership of the alleys in Aug 1934, renamed the place to Golden Way Alleys but shortly sold to Joe Davis in Nov 1934, likely due to health issues.
No further articles in the 1935 Powell Tribune newspaper was found so it is believed the Golden Way Alleys was shortlived after Joe Davis took over.
